This Crusader was originally built as a F-8D and delivered to VMF(AW)-451 as VM-5 in 1962 and subsequently upgraded to H-standard around 1967. It was retired to AMARC in February 1976 and sold two years later to the Philippine AF for spare parts. It is currently preserved at Fighting Classics of Marana but deceptively carries the rudder of 147078.
