This former ALAT L-19E (the "O-1" designation was never used in France) received its civilian registration in September 1987. It was eventually re-registered F-AYPF as a collection aircraft.

Never served in the US Army. Delivered to the French army as 24705, its construction number. Now painted as an US Army aircraft in Vietnam but strangely, painted in the data block on the nose is the s/n of an L-19A, 51-4754 (c/n 21639), which served in the Korean War and was loaned to the RAF for use by British general James Cassels.

When it was very cloudy. Painted in the colours of a US aircraft loaned to the RAF during the Korean War.

Built in 1959, this Bird Dog was delivered to the French army as 24705. To F-GDPF in 1986. Toting fake rocket launchers and painted as an aircraft of the US Army's 203rd Reconnaissance Airplane Company 'Hawkeyes', Vietnam, late 1960s.
