Never served in the US Army. Delivered to the French army as 24705, its construction number. Now painted as an US Army aircraft in Vietnam but strangely, painted in the data block on the nose is the s/n of an L-19A, 51-4754 (c/n 21639), which served in the Korean War and was loaned to the RAF for use by British general James Cassels.
