Dismantled S-51, recently arrived from Blackbushe. Reportedly damaged in a fire in a shed in July 1972 and scrapped. Note the Historic Aircraft Museum building under construction in the background with Drover G-APXX and Argus G-AJOZ.

Later moved to the Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend, but badly damaged in a fire and subsequently scrapped.

The North Sea flood of 1953 killed over 300 people in Britain too, but the southwest of the Netherlands was the worst hit and this Royal Navy Dragonfly was one of a number of foreign helicopters to come to the rescue here.
