The former KLu U-03 is seen here for a fuel and rest stop at Hato, Curacao, on delivery from the Netherlands to the Peruvian Navy. Hato was the home base of this aircraft when it served the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard from 2005-2007 after being upgraded to MPA-version.

Two Fokker 60s were operated from Hato for interim duties with the Coast Guard of the Netherlands Antilles & Aruba, after conversion to maritime patrol aircraft. The belly radar can be seen in this picture. It served for about 2,5 years before the leased Dash 8 took over its job.

After getting airborne on Rwy 27 the Dutch crew decided to stay low and started rocking the wings to say good-bye to RIAT 2004.

Testflown as PH-UTP first flight 01-May-1996, to Netherlands AF U-03 delivered 10-Jun-1996, converted to maritime patrol version 60MPA in 2005 for service in the Caribbean from Hato, withdrawn from use in Oct-2007 and stored, to Peruvian Navy AE-564 delivered May-2010. And no, this is not an air-to-air picture! It is taking-off for her homebase Eindhoven after being displayed in the static show at the Open Days at Volkel Air Base.
