The CAP 10 is a derivative of the Piel Super Emeraude of the 1960s. Despite the loss of the first prototype, the Coopérative des Ateliers Aéronautiques de la Région Parisienne (CAARP) started series production of the CAP 10 by Avions Mudry et Compagnie at Bernay, Normandy. The first series production CAP 10 is seen here, after it was just acquired by the local aeroclub of Bernay, which was very eager to own this aircraft after it became for sale. The production line of Avions Mudry at Bernay has long been shut down.
