On final approach to land on Runway 23 at Glasgow. Operated by Air Slovakia. Delivered new to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in 1987 as PH-BDK. In 2008 joined Air Slovakia, who leased it out for periods of a few months successively to Bellview Airlines, SkyEurope Airlines and Albanian Airlines before ceasing operations in March 2010. Preserved at Ostrava, Czech Republic, as a ground training aid for the local Aircraft Recovery Training Center.

The same titles as on the other side, with part of an engine cowling still present here. There was probably nothing useable left on the flight deck, with the 'eyebrow' windows allowed to become openings.

The titles on this 1987 Boeing, that served KLM for 21 years, indicate what it is used for and by whom, but a bit of background info does help. The Aircraft Recovery Training Center is a joint undertaking of Ostrava Airport Leos Janacek and Dutch specialist company ResQTec. Behind the wing is the text 'Partner of' in small print, preceding the name ResQTec. The white fuselage and tail logo are part of the last livery of Albanian Airlines, where OM-ASE spent a few months.

This 733 is more commonly known to most of us as PH-BDK of KLM. After some time with Air Slovakia it was bought by the Ostrava airport authorities for rescue training.
