The aircraft was to be ferried to the Netherlands on the 12th of July 2018 for Aviodrome Museum and expected to arrive in the Netherlands at Lelystad Airport on the 23rd of July 2018. Unfortunately the aircraft crashed during a testflight near Pretoria-Wonderboom Airport on July 10, 2018.

Delivered to the USAF as 54-2813 in 1954. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1987. Moved to Western International yard in 1991. Registered as N43891 then to Lineas Aereas Cando as CP-2236 in 1992 and Caribbean Flights as YV-913C in 1996. Back to Lineas Aereas Cando as CP-2236 in 1997 then to Rovos Air as ZS-BRV in 2001. Destroyed in a fatal crash after takeoff from Wonderboom, South Africa in 2018.

One of a pair of ex USAF Convairs operated by Lineas Aereas Canedo between 1992 and 1997 when both were sold to Rovos Air in South Africa. In 2018 the aircraft was sold and prepared for delivery to the Aviodrome in Holland but crashed on its first check flight on 10th July 2018 prior to delivery.

The aircraft was sold to the the aviation theme park Aviodrome in Holland. During a short pre delivery test flight it developed an engine fire and crashed in an industrial area in the North of Pretoria on 10 July 2018.

Ex CP-2236, registered to Rovos Air 5th Dec 2001. After years of storage it was prepared for delivery to the Aviadrome in EHLE (Lelystad) in Martins Air Charter livery. On a test flight ex FAWB (Wonderboom) the aircraft crashed due to a severe engine fire 10th July 2018
