Tucked away in a cold alcove, this Beaver had been with Keewatin Air since 1979. Originally US Army 55-0697, it would be damaged during a crosswind take-off at a lake in the Northwest Territories near Hudson's Bay (now called Nunavut ) on July 29, 1981. It would fly again a year later with Allen Airways. The bush plane is still current with Birchy Lodge Labrador Venture located in L'Anse au Clair, NL at the time of uploading.
