With first flight on November 10, 1994, this AvroRJ was delivered to Lufthansa Cityline eight days later (D-AVRA). Withdrawn in March 2012, the aircraft was stored at Cotswold Airport, UK three months later. Sold to Trident Aviation Leasing in July 2012, it was registered G-CHIU but remained at stored until leased to Aero-Flite in November 2012 for air tanker conversion. Registered N354AC / Tanker 161 with Aero-Flite, the aircraft was bought off lease by the Conair Group in 2015, transferring it to Conair as C-GVFH / Tanker 561 in August 2020.
