Aircraft badly damaged here in Amsterdam on 1 February 1958 as the captain overruled the co-pilot's decision to abort approach for Rwy 19. Eventually rebuilt, apparently as a freighter. Later used on Biafran Airlift. As VR-BCT, it crashed at Abidjan, Ivory Coast in 1970 during a ferry flight to Liverpool on three engines. Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)
