US Navy titles clearly visible on the fuselage. Stored for years in Mesa, Arizona, Harold Sheppard acquired the airplane, disassembled it and moved it to Greybull.

Former US Navy markings starting to show through paint. Delivered to the USAAF as C-54B 42-72415 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-2 50865 in 1945. Redesignated as an RC-54V in 1962, later a C-54Q and a C-54P. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 3C113 in 1973. To Aircraft Specialities as N67019 in 1975. then to Globe Air in 1981 and Air Response in 1986. To Brooks Fuel in 2010 and used for parts. Scrapped at Mesa-Falcon Field in 2013.

Later owners Globe Air and Air Response, always remained based at Falcon Field but does not seem to have flown beyond mid/late eighties. Aquired by Brooks Fuel in 2010 (suspended operations in 2011) but remained at Mesa until scrapped 2013.

Built in 1944 this classic DC 4 sits with three others of the type on Falcon Field where there are also other very interesting retired aircraft. Owned by Air Response, with the old United States Navy titles becoming visible through the fading civilian paint job.
