Flagship Louisville for American Airlines from April 1948, this Convair went to Trans Texas Airways in December 1961 and was converted to turbine power in 1966. Bar Harbor Airlines added the airliner to it's Convair fleet in 1980. Sold to International Turbine Service 1989, it was gradually broken up.
