Delivered new 24th Sep 1997 and on the 16th Sep 1998 it was damaged beyond repair in MMGL (Guadelajara) after landing in crosswinds exceeding allowable limits. It veered off the runway and the nosewheel collapsed., resulting in severe damage to fuselage and engines. It had just 3281 hrs and 1835 cycles on the clock.
