Built for British Eagle and delivered April 28, 1967, this BAC 111 was bought by Quebecair after the British carrier ceased operations in November 1968. Registered April 15, 1969, it was one of seven operated by Quebecair as their first jets. C-FQBN returned to the UK as G-YMRU for Airways International Cymru based in Cardif, Wales as their first aircraft. Dan Air London picked up the airliner after the Welsh carrier ceased operations in 1988. Last with Okada Air as 5N-MZE, it is stored at Benin City in derelict condition at the time of uploading.

Still in the colour scheme of its former operator Quebecair. This was at the height of the miners strike and there were a number of charters into EMA bringing police officers from various parts of the UK to police the picket lines of the coal mines in the Midlands. Delivered 28Ap1967 to British Eagle International Airlines as G-ATPH. Repossessed Nov1968. To Quebecair as CF-QBN 15Apr1969. Bought by Airways International Cymru Mar1984 and registered G-YMRU. Repossessed 19Jan1988. To Dan Air as G-BPNX 29Apr1988. To Okada Air of Nigeria on 29May1991 as 5N-MZE. WFU and stored at Benin City Dec1997. Noted May2010.

Ex G-YMRU Airways Cymru, registered G-BPNX 27th Apr 1988 for lease to DanAir. Returned to lessor 29th Nov 1988 and put in storage first in Lasham, then Manchester and finally Southend before being sold as 5N-MZE to Okada Air 29th May 1991

Here still in the distinctive later colours of Quebecair, this 1-11 was originally British Eagle's G-ATPH received in 4.67. Sold as CF-QBN in 4.69 and to Cymru in 3.84. Repossessed 1.88 and to Dan-Air as G-BPNX. Bought by Okada and became 5N-MZE in 5.91; in service till wfu at Benin City some time after 2000 and derelict since, remains there in dirty condition
