Another snow storm arriving while the cargo of the CL-44 is offloaded direct into a shipping container.

Seaboard World (N125SW) operated this CL-44 1951 - 68. Next leased to TransGlobe Airways (G-AWDK) for a year, the "swing tail" freighter was returned and stored in the UK. Acquired by Tradwinds in February 1969, it's pictured on a rare visit to Toronto. It was sold to Bayu Indonesia Air in 1979 and became PK-BAZ. Operated until it was stored in 1986 at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport in Jakarta, it was broken up there around 2004.

First flew as CF-NNM-X then delivered to Seaboard World as N125SW in 1961. To Transglobe Airways as G-AWDK in 1968 then to Tradewinds Airlines in 1969 and Bayu Indonesia Air as PK-BAZ in 1979. Withdrawn from use at Jakarta-Halim in 1990 and scrapped by 2000.

It was so disheartening to see this beautiful aircraft, in what was a magnificent livery, in such a poor state.

Started life with Seaboard as N125SW on 7.7.61 and then to Transglobe (G-AWDK) in April 1968. After service with TMA and Tradewinds, rolled out for Bayu at Lasham on 10.8.79. Stored at Jakarta-Halim from 1990 but later b/u
