The fuselage structure of these roomy twins is similar to its V-tail brother and is expanded to suit the larger aircraft. This explains the three-piece windshield on earlier models with the center section added to make up the difference. They were popular in their day and led to the Queen Air and highly successful King Air series. This 1959 built example is still current in 2020 as N107WS.
