Delivered new to Scandinavian Airlines as OY-KPA on 23 Apr 1956. To Linjeflyg as SE-CCG on 30 Sep 1969. To Aegis Marketing as CF-GHQ on 28 Feb 1973. To Great Lakes Airlines as CF-GLK on 05 Dec 1973. To Onyx Aviation as N99589 on 23 Feb 1977. Reregistered to N21DR on 05 Apr 1977. Leased to Airgo in Jan 1978. To Emissary Airlines on 07 Nov 1978. Leased to Island Airlines Hawaii in Aug 1981. Ditched into Pearl Harbor Channel shortly after take off from Honolulu on 17 Jan 1982. The crew of three survived.

Delivered new to SAS as OY-KPA in April 1956, and Linjeflyg as SE-CCG from November 1969. Operated by Great Lakes from December 1973 until February 1977.

This Convairliner was originally delivered to Scandinavian Airlines April 24, 1956 as OY-KPA, christened "Hans Viking". Passed on to Lynjeflyg in 1969, it came to Great Lakes as they commenced an expansion with Convair 440s in 1973. Exported to the USA in 1977 as the airline upgraded to the Convair 580. It was flying freight with Island Air Hawaii as N21DR when it suffered an engine failure on take off from Honolulu and was forced to ditch in Pearl Harbor Channel January 17, 1982.
