slide from Eberhard Kunze. - Kalitta has operated this ex Continental DC-9 for ten years between 1984 and 1994, initially as N9353 and the last two years as N901CK. It was sold to USA Jet and flew as N197US until being retired at Detroit-Willow Run. Noted there in 2005 and 2011, broken up thereafter.

slide scan from the NK collection. - After Passenger services with Continental and Hughes Airwest, this DC-9 spent some years as a VIP transport for Banco de Mexico as XC-BDM. Therafter, it was converted into a freighter and flew with Kalitta, American International and finally USA Jet. The DC-9 was seen stored at Willow Run MI in 2005 and was broken up there in 2011.

Delivered new to Continental in November 1967 as N8912. Bought by Kalitta in June 1984. Seen on a sunny but snow-covered apron at Willow Run.
