This was one of the four London City Airways DHC-7s which were absorbed into British Midland's fleet when its subsidiary ceased operations.

Ex G-BOAY, registered 22nd Nov 1995 and stored at WMSA since the latter part of 2014 after the airline stopped operating scheduled flights.

Acquired Aug 93 ex British Midland and London City Airways. To Berjaya Air Nov 95 as 9M-TAL. Seen stored Kuala Lumpur Subang Mar 2012.

This is the penultimate Dash 7 built, delivered to London City Airways in 6.88 and sold by BMA to Berjaya Air as 9M-TAL in 11.95 - I got to shoot it again at Subang, KL in June 2002 a couple of days before the airport closed for scheduled traffic. Looks sharp here in the BMA colours of the time
