Delivered to the US Navy as 131604 in 1953. Leased to Slick Airways as N11712 in 1955. Returned to the US Navy as 131604 in 1958. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1976. Sold and moved to the Western International yard in 1988. Registered as N810CS in 1990. Flown from Davis-Monthan AFB to Fairbanks, AK in 1999 and used for parts by Everts. Still there in 2022.

Traces of this aircraft's former US Navy history (BuNo 131604 / RZ) can still be seen on its fin. The rudder was taken from a Trans Continental DC-6. The obtrusive nose cone on the left belongs to a former US Navy Convair C-131.

This aircraft arrived at MASDC on 26 October 1976 and in August 1986 was officially transferred to USAF inventory with new PCN CG106. In this image the USN PCN 8C012 is still worn just above the nosegear bay. The aircraft was registered N810CS in 1990 and ferried to Fairbanks AK by Everts Air Fuel in May 1999. Its cut-down fuselage and wing centre-section remained in the Everts "boneyard", still in faded US Navy colours as of 2022.

The 'RZ' tail code was that of VR-21 based at Barber's Point NAS, HI. Aircraft arrived at MASDC in 10.76 and registered N810CS in 1990; eventually ferried to Fairbanks AK by Everts Air Fuel in 5.99 and placed in store where she remains in ex-USN marks
