Stored in a scrapyard in Cincinnati is this incredible rarity, one of the few surviving examples of the Convair 880. Broken up at CVG in May of 1986 (though the registration N48058 was not cancelled by the FAA until November of 2012!). Still recognizably in the colors of Cathay Pacific, where she flew as VR-HFT, even after all these years in the weather.

I found this shot in amongst my late father's slide collection. He didn't shoot airliners, rather photographed all aspects of life in HK at that time and occasionally he would visit Kai Tak. Note also the Stratocruiser parked in the background.

Previously HB-ICL with Swissair, and VR-HFT with Cathay Pacific and seen here in their basic livery. Title was later changed to Jetaway, but like most travel clubs, it eventually failed.
