Originally destined for New Zealand (as ZK-CHD), this Airtourer was instead delivered as VH-MTB to the Royal Aero Club of South Australia in March 1965. Re-registered as VH-BWI in November 1965. Preserved in this attractive, if not entirely accurate, colour scheme.

At the Moorabbin Aviation Museum. On the lawnmover, it is written,"Yes this is a Victa ... and so is this!" Victa is a well-known Australian lawnmower manufacturer, and in 1962, they also commenced production of these aircraft. They only built 170 airplanes in total between 1962 and 1967, but Victa lawnmowers are still sold in Australia to this day :)

VH-BWI was delivered to the Royal Aero Club of South Australia in 1965. It participated in the Benson and Hedges trans-Australia air race in October 1976. -BWI was withdrawn from use in 1981.
