This L-39 was built in August 1976 and TOC by the Czechoslovak AF. In July 1996, L-39C 4357 and L-39V 0745 collided during training of the acrobatic group White Albatross. The L-39C pilots ejected safely and their plane crashed in an industrial zone in Košice. The pilot of 0745 landed at LZKZ despite extensive damage to the rear fuselage. The frame was repaired, retired in 2007, stored and is now undergoing restoration for display. Either these are parts replaced during the original repair or, perhaps more likely, have been replaced during the ongoing restoration. More info always welcome.
