This modified Whisper version of the Sling trainer is being developed by the Sling Pilot Academy. While the noise footprint of the aircraft is already low, the school is reducing the tone of the noise and quieting the buzz associated with the Rotax engine. It's a major effort to reduce the noise impact in the local Torrence airport community.
