Under restoration at the excellent museum in Nordholz is Arado 196A-5 623183. Built by Arado Flugzeugwerke and assembled by Fokker in Amsterdam during 1944. Assigned to Prinz Eugen. On May 7, 1945 surrendered aboard Prinz Eugen to the Royal Navy at Copenhagen. On January 13, 1946 departs Wesermünde bound for Boston for technical evaluation. Later displayed at NAS Willow Grove as part of the David Ascher collection and moved on to Pensacola. It arrived in Germany on a permanent loan basis late 2012 and has been under restoration ever since. Its wings are of Arado 1960293.
