VH-MML was part of the Air Beef scheme. With the poor roads that were impassible in the wet season in remote Western Australia, cattle had to be walked to the Wyndham abattoir. They lost as much as 35kg in weight. To overcome this, in 1949 an abattoir was built at Glenroy Station and chilled carcasses flown out in a fleet of DC-3s and Bristol 170s to Wyndham and Derby. Registered as G-ANMA then VH-MML in 1954, P2-MML in 1974, P2-ANV in 1975 and VH-MML then VH-BPN in 1977. Operated by Dakota National Air from 1995. Renamed to Discovery Airways in 2002 and went bankrupt in 2004. Stored at Bankstown. Moved by road to Molong in 2009.

Sold to MacRobertson Miller Aviation VH-MML - April 20, 1954. It was sold to Air Niugini in January 1974 and registered P2-MML, later P2-ANV. Returned to Australia as VH-BPN in 1977.
