Just delivered on April 12, 1985, it was a surprise to see C-FCPG gone a year later. Sold to Guinness Peat Aviation (GPA), it was leased to VASP as PP-SNQ starting April 1986.

The "Empress of Ontario" taxiing in. When CP Air cancelled their initial order for 767s, they changed it to 737-317s. The 300s didn't work out as the airline had hoped and were removed from the fleet in 1986. In 2012, this one arrived in Stuttgart, Arkansas for parting out after flying with Southwest Airlines for 14 years.
