The "Empress of Richmond" was delivered to CP Air April 22, 1983.

After the merger of Pacific Western Airlines and CP Air that formed Canadian Airlines in 1987, it took some time to paint the fleet. There were many partial color schemes around for several years and this 737 was getting close to the full colors when photographed on the push back.

This former CP Air/Canadian Airlines 737 would later fly with Zip Air until their operations were merged back into Air Canada in September 2004. The aircraft was ultimately sold to Chanchangi Airlines in December 2004.

Early in the merger forming Canadian Airlines, this 737 is still in CP Air's colors as it visits the wash rack for a cleaning.

Delivered to CP Air March 22, 1983, like much of CP Air's fleet, moved to Canadian Airlines and Air Canada with mergers. Transferred to Zip Air in November 2003, it was retired when Zip ceased operations in September 2004. Sold to Chanchangi Airlines as 5N-BEW in December 2004 and flown until that airline shut down in 2007.
