Hellenic Air was a failed start-up airline which never started service. Seen here with additional "C.A.A." titles on this side only. These additional titles were removed from the aircraft in 2017/2018.

This former Aloha Airlines BAC 111 built in 1966 was bought by Mohawk Airlines March 13, 1969. Merged into Allegheny Airlines April 12, 1972 and re-named US Air in October 1979, the twin jet would be stored in Las Vegas in 1988. Delivered to Hellenic Air as SX-BAR inj 1992, it was never used and is stored at Athens Hellinikon airport.

Ex Aloha N11181, registered to Mohawk 11th March 1969, merged into Allegheny Apr 1972 and USAir Oct 1979. Sold to Hellenic Air as SX-BAR but it was never taken up and the aircraft was retired at LGAT (Athens) Oct 1992

Ex N11181 (Aloha) and N1130J (Mohawk, Allegheny and US Air). It was captured under difficult conditions (through glass, about 400mm and 40ºC over the tarmac!) but it was a very rare airliner: the only BAC 1-11 registered in Greece, belonging to a paper airline that never started up.
