Delivered to American Airlines as N7559A in 1965. To TMA of Lebanon as OD-AGN in 1977. Destroyed by an Israeli attack at Beirut in 1982.

This 707 was Astrojet N7559A with American Airlines from 1965 to 1977. Joining TMA in May 1977, the freighter was among six Lebanese Boeing 707 and 720s destroyed during a shelling of Beirut Airport during the 1982 Lebanon War.

Pure freighter with nearly all cabin windows blanked off. Served AA from July 1965 until sale to Trans Mediterranean in May 1977 as OD-AGN. Damaged beyond repair by shelling at Beirut on 16 June 1982.

I well remember looking at the patched-up bullet holes in TMA 707s during their frequent stopovers at LHR cargo in the 'Eighties. This 707 suffered much the same fate as MEA's 720 OD-AFL just uploaded. Like that 720, TMA's OD-AGN was acquired from American and also perished under Israeli shelling at Beirut, in this case on 16th June, 1982
