Delivered new to Air France as F-BGNL 25th Aug 1953 and registered G-ARBY to Maitland Drewery7th June 1960.Returned to France as F-BOEC for Air Inter 7th Oct 1966, then reverted back to G-ARBY with Alidair 29th July 1975. Crashed 6 miles short of Exeter Airport due to fuel starvation 17th July 1980. Total Time 35118 hours

Delivered to Air France in 1953 as F-BGNL it returned to the UK in 1960 before a further spell in France as F-BOEC with Air Inter from 1966-1975. It was then sold to Alidair as G-ARBY and was seen on a rare visit to Heathrow. It crashed on approach to Exeter in 1977 due to fuel starvation. Scanned from a slide.

Damaged Beyond Repair in a forced landing in a field approximately 7 miles East of Exeter Airport (UK) 17 Jul 80, due to fuel exhaustion. The aircraft was flying from Santander (Spain) to Exeter (UK) with what turned out to be insufficient fuel due to faulty fuel gauges.

Delivered to Air France as F-BGNL in 1953. To Maitland Drewery as G-ARBY in 1961 then to British United Airways in 1967. To Air Inter as F-BOEC in 1967 then back to G-ARBY with Alidair in 1975. Crashed on approach to Exeter in 1980.

This aircraft carries a real mixture of markings. It is titled Alidair but carries its Air Inter registration and cheat line. The fin carries the Alidair design but not the logo. It later became G-ARBY, presumably soon aftter this photo was taken and was written off near Exeter (UK) on 17th July 1980 afetr a forced landing 10 miles short of the runway.
