YoM 1958. Ex CF-LPF. Became SE-LEV with MAF Sweden. Transfered to Bangladesh and reg S2-ACE in 1998. Later C-FLPF (again) and C-FMPC.

Viking Air rebuilt this Turbo Beaver for the RCMP in 2006. It went to their Prince George base and in Sept 2008 it made a wheels down landing on Level Lake near Dease Lake where it flipped over on its back. All 3 occupants escaped but the Beaver was written off. It was salvaged by North Cariboo Air of Fort St John and rebuilt in 2009. It was eventually sold to Escape Air of Vancouver in 2016. The retro RCMP paint scheme remains on this very nice Beaver.

This Beaver was built as a standard piston engine DHC-2 in 1959. After several accidents in the 1980s, Viking Air bought the aircraft. Viking, who own the type certificates of all De Havilland Canada aircraft except the Dash 8, converted it to a turbo Beaver during 1993 - 1996. Bought by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 2006, it was painted in these retro colors for the 70th anniversary of the RCMP Air Division in 2007. It was sold in 2016.
