Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76552 then to the RAAF as A65-91 in 1945. Registered as VH-TMQ in 1987 and used by a number of operators. Current on the register in 2022 with Southern Cross Air Tours.

Despite being registered VH-TMQ for several months before the photo, this C-47 was delivered to Essendon in its full RAAF markings. Stripped back to bare metal but then abandoned. Finally restored in the late 1990s and flown again in 2000. Now used for nostalgia flights.

A65-91 served with the RAAF from 1945 to 1986. It was sold on the civil market and became VH-TMQ.
