This 727 was originally delivered to Continental in October 1974 and flew with the airline until August 1998. It was converted to a freighter and started flying with Kitty Hawk from July 1999 but was withdrawn and stored at Roswell (ROW) from December 2002. In July 2010 it was bought by Rio Linhas Aereas as PP-IOZ and flown to Curitiba (CWB) where it was parted out to keep the other 727s in the fleet flying.
