ex Rwanda Airlines

In 1965 delivered to British United as G-ASJG. Operated by a whole string of airlines such as British Caledonian, Pacific Express, Braniff and British Air Ferries. Ended her days with Rwanda Airlines as 9XR-RA (photographer not known)

To- 9XR-RA in April 1998.

Registration cancelled on 24 March 1982 on sale to the USA as N104EX with Braniff Airways, and re-registered EI-BWK in 1988. To Southend on 28 March 1990 and became G-DBAF on 17 July 1990 with British Air Ferries. Registration cancelled on 5 March 1996 on sale to Liberia as EL-ALD, then became YA-GAG 9 months later. It was finally operated by the Government of Rwanda as 9XR-RA from February 1998, and was reported as stored at Lanseria in 2000.

Ex Guiness Peat Aviation EI-BWK, registered to BAF as G-DBAF 17th July 1990. Made its last commercial flight for BAF 4th Dec 1992 and put into storage at EGMC (Southend). After nearly 4 years of storage it was re-activated and sold as EL-ALD 4th Apr 1996

The ex Rwanda government BAC 1-11 in Lanseria's boneyard. The aircraft was later scrapped. In front of the BAC 1-11 is the forward fuselage section of Vickers Viscount G-PFBT. This forward portion of the Viscount was restored and is currently still displayed along Peter Road, Ruimsig, Roodepoort in South Africa.
