Delivered to the USAAF as 42-93424 then transferred to the RAF as KG603 in 1944. To KLM as PH-TCT in 1946. Reregistered as PH-DAT in 1954. To De Kroonduif as JZ-PDF in 1961 then to Merpati as PK-GDP in 1963. Reregistered as PK-NDF in 1964. Later to Dirgantara Air Service as PK-VTO and to the Indonesian Air Force as AF-4776 in 1993. Preserved at Halim from 2003.

Built in 1979, it went to Wien Air as N493WC in October that year. It moved on to Alaska Airlines as N744AS in November 1984. Sold to Tri-M.G. Intra Asia Airlines in February 2005 as PK-YGF, then briefly to Neptune Air as 9M-NEA (Malaysia) in 2009. It went back to Tri-M.G. as PK-YGP before being sold to Dirgantara Air Services in January 2015. The paint job in this picture looks pretty worn but the aircraft has since received the full Dirgantara livery, see also picture ID 317142.

Apart from other Indonesian operators, this aircraft also previously operated with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines both as PH-TCT (1946-1954) and PH-DAT (1954-1961). Prior to that it was with the Royal Air Force as KG603 and the US Army Air Force as 42-93424.

PK-VAA is ex Indonesian Air Force PB-522. It was at the time used to support Indonesian oil rigs for Conoco Inc. from a base in Singapore. Its fate is not known.
