According to the story told by the people in Latacunga, this plane was brought for a C-Check, but the airline ran out of money, and the aircraft was stored until they could pay, but never happened. It was later scrapped circa 2006. Former registrations include N552PE and N427BN.

Delivered to the Soviet Air Force in 1966. To GosNII GA state scientific research institute for civil aviation as CCCP-11531 in 1975 and converted to an An-12BPTs "Tsiklon" weather control aircraft in 1978. Reregistered as RA-11531 and converted back to a standard AN-12BP in 1993. Leased to various operators and crashed in Angola in 1997.
