To Muse Air as N675MC in 1985 who were renamed to Transtar Airlines in 1986 then to Eastern Air Lines in 1987, Continental Air Lines in 1991 and Northwest Airlines in 1992 who merged into Delta Air Lines in 2009. Preserved at the Delta Flight Museum, Atlanta, GA from 2013.

Delivered to Swissair as HB-ISS in 1976. To Muse Air as N672MC in 1984. who were renamed to Transtar Airlines in 1986 then to Linea Aerea Venezolana in 1987 and Hawaiian Airlines in 1988. Withdrawn from use at Mojave, CA in 2001, last noted in 2003. Scrapped

Delivered to Muse Air as N935MC in 1982 who were renamed to Transtar Airlines in 1986. To Continental Airlines in 1987 and reregistered as N93875 in 1991. Stored at Tucson, AZ in 2002. Last flight to Roswell, NM in 2004 and scrapped.

Pictured on the flight line at McDonnell Douglas, this MD-82 would be delivered to Muse Air September 28, 1982. Started by former Southwest Airlines president Lamar Muse as a premium low fare carrier competing with Southwest. The carrier was bought by Southwest in 1985 and re-named TransStar Airlines to fly transcontinental flights. The airline shut down in 1987 and this aircraft went to Continental Airlines. Last with Aserca / SBA Airlines as YV348T, it was withdrawn and stored at Simón Bolívar International Airport in August 2013.

Muse Air was acquired by Southwest Airlines in 1985 and re-named TranStar Airlines in Feb 1986. It was unprofitable and was shut down mid 1987.
