Delivered new to Kenya Airways 20th May 1997 and transferred to JamboJet March 2014, then to Daallo Airlines July 2018

Del as CCCP-46668 to AFL/North Kavkaz in May'74. In '94, transferred to Kuban Airlines as RA-46668 where it served up to Apr'04. Sold to Pecotox Air as ER-AZL up to Dec'06. Sold to Utage (still ER-AZL) in Jun'07. It was then seen in this colour scheme. In Oct'07 it was canx and it moved to Dr Congo. Early '08 it was seen as S9-KAS at Ambouli and it was advertised for lease in Feb'08 by Starlight Maritime UAE with base given as Iraq. From Jul'08, it was sold to Daallo Airlines in the same c/s with just a Daallo sticker. Badly damaged on 13 Jan'09, after nose-gear failure at Bosaso. Since wfu.

Stayed a little bit more that one year with daallo, also in rather anonymous colours, before flying for Trans Air Congo.

It may have looked nicer with a better quality paint job. The aircraft was leased from Tajik Air. A photo of it taken in 2012 shows it back in the new Tajik Air livery (with titles) but withdrawn from use and minus engines.

Once Phoenix international airlines , but most probably its last operator was Daallo Airlines. This Il-18Grwas seen at Djibouti, stored in a weary condition. It is reported that this airframe was sadly scrapped in 2018.

Since July 2011, this old seven three belongs to the inventory of Daallo Airlines. It was seen in a stored condition at Djibouti in 2013.

Two IL-18's formerly owned by "Leninets Scientific Research Institute" and equipped for radar testing, then designated as SL-18I. Reverted to Il-18 designation but still fitted with the large external antenna pods, Daallo started using them as airliners in 1993! The one parked behind is RA-75713 ( c/n 186009403).
