Delivered new to Sabena in September 1990 as OO-SGD. Registered N24837 in October 1999, converted to a freighter in October 2000 and flew with Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo. To Air Atlanta in May 2004 as TF-ARY and Air Bridge Cargo as VP-BIC in October 2005. Bought by leasing company Aquiline International in May 2012 and operated by AG Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines as 4L-ACE . Operated by TransAvia Export since May 2016.

This former Soviet Air Force CANDID (as CCCP-76734) was delivered in May 1987. It was transferred to Belarus and served Ilavia (as EW-76734) from August 1999, Eastline from March 2000, Krylo from March 2001, for a few months Atlant-Soyuz from April 2002, Trans Avia Export from June 2002, Volga-Dnepr from May 2008 and again Trans Avia Export from April 2011. The Il-76 kept all the time its same registration. From May 2013 onwards, the TD was stored at Minsk. Trans Avia Export reported in 2015 that 76734 could be made airworthy again in the future, if required.

In basic Trans Avia Export pictured at Kabul. The Il-76 became damaged beyond economical repair on 9 Mar'07 during a flight from Entebbe to Mogadishu. On its final approach to Mogadishu (at a flight level of some 120-150 metres) it was hit by a Rocket Propelled Grenade fired by Islamic rebels from a small boat. The RPG hit the fuselage near the left main landing gear and caused a fire, the crew managed to land the Il-76 safely. The a/c was cannibalised, and parts were to be flown out by Il-76TD EW-77849 on 23 Mar'07. That 849 was shot down during departure... 826 was fully scrapped by nov'12.

Retired circa 2018.

Damaged beyond repair at Mogadishu, Somalia, 8 Mar 2007 when it landed on fire having been hit by an RPG fired by rebels (in a boat) whilst on approach. Non-damaged parts were cannibalized and a company aircraft EW-78849 was sent to retrieve them. When it departed Mogadishu 23 Mar 2007 it too was hit by a missile and crashed, killing all 11 on board.
