Made the first flight of an aircraft in New Zealand in February 1911 from Glenora Park which was part of private racetrack. The site is now housing but there is a bronze plaque marking the site. Howard Wright was an English aircraft designer active from 1908 to 1911. Seven 1910 Biplanes were built.
