Registered as G-AGPG in 1945. Last flight to Southend for preservation in 1967. Damaged by vandals at Southend after the museum closed then moved to Lympne in 1983. Moved to Brenzett in 1986 and stored in the open then to Chadderton in 1996 and Hooton Park in 2000. Dismantled due to its poor condition in 2011/12. Front fuselage restored and moved to Woodford for preservation. Remainder scrapped.

Recently moved to external display at the Historic Aircraft Museum at the time of the photo. When the museum closed and its contents were auctioned in May 1983 it sold for £2,800. Subsequently stored in a derelict state at Hooton Park, Cheshire. Finally scrapped in 2012 with the front fuselage section being saved for restoration at Avro Heritage Museum in Manchester.

1944-built Anson 11 modified with radar nose for demonstrating Ekco Electronics products. Operated by the firm from July 1954 until retirement at Southend in September 1967. Ex RAF NL229.

This Avro C.19 was registered to Avro in 1945 and was a well-known part of the Southend scene while being used by local firm Ekco from 10.67 with its bulbous nose for avionics trials. Went into the ill-fated Historic Air Museum there and sold for £2800 when it closed; now under restoration at the old Hooton Park Aerodrome, Ellesmere Port
