Built in 2005, registered to Uwe Schlätker in 2010. Due to German regulations regarding experimental aircraft, the owner opted to use the Dutch register. The aircraft was seldomly seen and in hindsight this was a great visitor to the airshow. Sold to another German owner in 2018, who then sold it to Tim Just (ex Unlimited Aerobatic Team). At that point, the aircraft had only 100 hours since its construction. The aircraft became N985TJ and first flew again in the US in April 2018. A month later, the owner flipped it over during landing at Apple Valley. Damage and current status are unknown.

Built by Steve Wolf as a replica of the original Pitts Samson. Wolf started to convert Pitts Specials from 1978, supported by Curtis Pitts. Engine plating, undercarriage, ailerons and wings were part of the modifications which led to increased speed, roll ability and more G-force resistance. WS-002 was the second built aircraft and was modified to incorporate learning points from the first built. Wolf also built a 3/4 scale Samson (Samson Mite-1, N749SM, WM-001). 2 other Samsons were built by others, but both were involved in crashes. It appears that only the Samson Mite-1 still exists.

Ex 121714 with the US Navy. Became N4995V in 1957. To N700HL in 1972. The aircraft was restored between 1975 and 1971 and exported to the UK by ship where it joined The Fighter Collection. Became G-RUMM in 1998.

Ex Russian Air Force, later became RA-44514, G-CBSN and RA-3480K. Became PH-DTW in March 2013.

The Fokker Four formation is a well-known display team in the country. PH-AFS/E-14 is seen here together with PH-HOL/E-27, PH-HOK/E-29 and PH-HOG/E-39.

Built as a Yak-11, remanufactured as a Yak-3U (replica) in 2005. Exported the the United States. It was shipped to Belgium in 2007 and became RA-3482K with a Belgian owner. Owned by a Dutch owner between 2008 - 2012 and based at Lelystad. Became F-AZZK in 2012.

Ex 44-72922 with the USAAF. To private owners as N7718C, N18Y, N6803T and N577WD. Converted to a P-51R, rebuilt as a racer, modifying the aircraft with the mainplane of a Learjet 23. Became N91KD. Crashed in June 1989 after an engine failure. Damage was substantial and the registration was cancelled. Restored with original wings and tailplane of 44-72922. The restoration was completed in June 1993. Became N93TF. Crashed again in February 2003 after a spin during aerobatics. Again restored, completed by 2009. Became PH-VDF in November 2009 and OO-RYL in March 2018.

Pretty much the whole single engine fleet of the AIS Flight Academy (based at Lelystad) was present that day.

Ex 44-72035 with the USAAF. Bought in 1957 for 1100 US Dollars and became N5411V. Exported to Colombia, initially keeping 5411V. Reregistered HK-2812P in 1982. Exported to France in 1989 as F-AZMU. Became G-SIJJ in 2003.

Ex BB731 with the RAF. Later to private owners and seemingly exported to Kenya in 1992 as G-ADCG. Cancelled in 1993. Then to OO-TGM. Became PH-VMS in 2009. To LN-ADC by 2013.

Ex N6866 with the RAF. Became G-AJHS in 1984. To a Dutch owner in February 2013, keeping its UK registration.

Ex 250 with the Iraqi Air Force. Later became N21SF. Exported to South Africa in April 2001 and became ZU-WOW. Became F-AZXL in June 2008.

Ex 20255 with the Canadian Armed Forces. Later to a private owner as N305GS. Exported to Germany in January 1998 to become D-FUKK.

The Sea Fury rolling out on runway 25 after landing. It put up the best display of the airshow, with a low and fast demo.

You probably wouldn't expect this, but this old lady actually had the honor of giving away the lowest low pass of the day! Absolutely brilliant to see that she could still work her magic back then!
