Previously in use with the Naval Air Technical Training Centre (NATTC) at Memphis, with the EAA Museum from 1978 until 1990. Displayed at the Naval Support Activity Centre, Philadelphia, PA since 2003 and restored in 2004 to wear the colours of VA176, still present at time of upload.

Ex PH-EXD, delivered to Air Wisconsin in May 1986 and operated on behalf of United Express until sold to UFS - United Feeder Service in September 1993. Sold to NEPC Airlines of India as VT-NEC in February 1994 and stored for over twenty years at Chennai after the company failed in 1997. Moved in September 2021 for display at a site at Morni, Panchkula, Haryana State in Northern India.

First flown on 5th April 1985 this is the prototype of this four seater amphibian, later supplied in limited numbers in the form of a pre moulded parts kit. Cancelled from the register in 2003, the aircraft has been displayed at Glens Falls-Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport since April 2005 and was refurbished by the local Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (Chapter 353) in 2014.

Built in 1954 as the first production Helio Courier. Operated by mission aviation company JAARS (Jungle Aviation and Radio Service) and a regular at Oshkosh for many years. Sold in Canada as C-GOOI in January 2011 and returned to the US as N100HC in 2019.

Built in 1930 and donated to the EAA Museum circa 1974. No longer in the collection and registered to a California based owner at time of upload.

Ex French AF, imported to the US in December 1985. Destroyed when it broke up in mid air following an airshow at La Crosse WI. on 16th June 2001.

First flown from Lock Haven in March 1943 the PT-1 was the first low wing monoplane built by Piper and was designed for use as a trainer for the USAAC. The ending of the Second World War meant that no orders were forthcoming and the design never got beyond the prototype stage. Displayed at the EAA museum for several years before moving to the Piper Aviation Museum at Lock Haven where it remains on display at time of upload.

Built as C-45F 44-87190 in 1945. Converted to civilian use as C-45S N8037H in 1956 and fitted with Lycoming IO-540-A1A engines by Besler Developments in 1967. To the EAA Museum Foundation in January 1977 and to Northstar Aviation of Missoula MT, who had plans to restore the aircraft to flying condition, circa 1995. Transported by road and damaged en-route, the restoration was abandoned and the aircraft donated to the Museum of Mountain Flying at Missoula. Displayed as 'N9237Z'

The Rocket 185 was developed from the Rocket 125. The aim was to produce a high-performance aircraft for $5000. Only 19 were built with its limited seating - it was essentially a two-seater - seen as an impediment. The design was taken over by Rocket Aircraft but no further aircraft were built. N90204 is still registered to a Florida based owner at time of upload.

After being restored by Steve Pitcairn, one of the first public demonstration flights was at the 1986 EAA Convention, as seen here. In September 2005 Mr. Pitcairn donated this aircraft to the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, WI. where it is on display.

Built in 1931 for the Champion Spark Plug Company. Flown by Captain Lewis Yancey 1931-32 in demonstration flights, one of them being a flight over the Gulf of Mexico from Havana, Cuba to the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. It was then on display at the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry until it was sold off after WW2. It was eventually discovered in a barn and was acquired by Steve Pitcairn, who restored it to flying condition. Steve is seen in the slide taxiing out for takeoff at the 1986 EAA Convention, which was one of the first public flying displays of it after restoration.
