At the first ever Air Tattoo. A little weather-worn. Became G-BLDI with Aces High in January 1984 and sold as N54NA in November 1984. Crashed near Independence, NY on 19 July 1995.

Became G-14-38 for Royal Air Force of Oman in April 1974 and subsequently given the serial 912.

This C-47 was new to the USAAF in 1.44 and used in the Operation Market Garden drops over Holland in September of that year. Passed to the R Norwegian AF in 1950 and then the R Danish AF's Esk 721 in 10.56. Sold as N54NA in 11.84 and ferried from Duxford to new base at Burlington, VT. Sold again but crashed during delivery flight near Independence, NY, on 19.7.95

After service with 15 Wing from 2.54 till 7.74, placed in storage at Koksijde and later scrapped along with many others. Original allocation 52-6052

Here at the first ever Air Tattoo displaying a five-digit serial (derived from US allocation 66-9241), from 1972 this two-seater F-5 operated with the shortened Norwegian identity 241. From 332 Sqn at Rygge, later serving 336 and 338 Sqns before being displayed on a pole at Trondheim
