Seen here in an unusual camouflage scheme. Later used for ground instruction as A2762 at Lee on Solent, then at Gosport as A2674. Preserved from 22 July 2008 by 606 Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force at Benson. Moved to SWAM at St Athan on 18 May 2021 for preservation, then stored.

Stored at 60 MU Leconfield from 17 September 1973, and scrapped there in August 1974.

Sold as scrap in April 1992. With XV586/R-003 c/n 3317/9340, later used for ground instruction at Leuchars as 9067M, and transferred to Yeovilton for preservation on 16 May 2012.

Became G-BVYI on 31 January 1995, and cancelled on 6 June 1995 on transfer to US marks as N289XF. It made the Atlantic crossing to the USA in July 1995, the first such flight by a Hunter. The US registration was cancelled on 13 January 2004, and the Hunter was broken up in Canada for spares, the cockpit section being preserved.

Transferred to the RAF on 1 August 1972. Written off on 7 September 1987 when it collided with XT872 and crashed into the North Sea off Perthshire. The crew ejected safely.

The FAAM's newest exhibit at the time, ex Yeovilton Station Flight. It was transferred to Guernsey in 1979 for use by the airport fire service, and was gone by September 1992.

Used for ground instruction as A2730 at Lee on Solent, then moved on 9 February 1988 to the Royal Navy Fire School at Predannack as A2620. It had perished by August 1995.

Transferred to the RAF on 27 November 1978, and scrapped in October 1991.

The first Gazelle for the Royal Navy, first flown just two days before this photograph was taken. Became G-CBSA on 6 June 2002, and re-registered G-ZELE on 27 May 2003. Registration cancelled on 14 September 2015 on sale to Australia as VH-OIW.

Coded 719, but carried as 19. After spares recovery at Farnborough from 1980 it was moved to Pendine Ranges in February 1986, and scrapped there in 1999.

Built as an F4 and converted to a T7 in 1959, it joined the Royal Navy in 1968 and acquired the tail of a T8. It was transferred to the Royal Aircraft Establishment Farnborough in August 1972. Following damage sustained in a wheels up landing at Thurleigh in 1984 it was used for ground instruction at RNEC Manadon as A2648 and Yeovilton as A2734 before being sold to Classic Jets at Exeter in 1986 for spares use. After some moving around the UK It was scrapped in 2004, and reduced to a cockpit section. This was moved in January 2018 to RAF Laarbruch Museum, Germany, for preservation.
