The last registration allocated was 4R-AAI, ex CY-AAI, G-ALXT, NF865. Preserved since 1981 at the Science Museum store at Wroughton painted as G-ALXT.

Six Dominies flew essential domestic services in the Netherlands after WWII as the country's infrastructure lay in ruins. They were operated by KLM on behalf of the government. This Dominie started service with the Royal Netherlands Air Force in Sep 1944, initially with its former RAF serial NF689 (still carried on the fin in this photo). It briefly flew as PH-RAE in Mar 1946, before it was reserialled to V-3 in Mar 1947. Operated for the United Nations in Israel in 1948 as PH-VNC, coded '7'. To KLM as PH-TGC in Nov 1952, then to PH-OTA in May 1954. Reg cancelled in Nov 1966 and placed on display for a short while in the playgrounds of the Avifauna Birds Zoo in Alphen aan de Rijn, Netherlands in 1967. Acquired by the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum in Dec 1968.

Built for RAF in 05.44 as NF869. To Dutch Government in 11.45 as PH-RAE. V-3 with RNAF from 05.46. PH-TGC and PH-OTA with KLM 11.52 to 07.62. Aero-Ypenburg 07.62. Donated to Avifauna children's playground 11.66. To RNAF Museum in late 1968 and restored as V-3.

This aircraft was originally delivered to the RAF in 1944 as NF865. Registered G-ALXT in 1950, to Ceylon in 1951 as CY-AAI, later to 4R-AAI. Returned to the UK in 1974, and added to the Strathallan Aircraft Collection the next year. Painted in Railway Air Services colours seen here in the late 1970s. The museum acquired this aircraft in the Strathallan auction on 14 July 1981, and it has been on display at Wroughton in those same colours ever since.

Taken shortly after return from a period in Ceylon. It soon took up its previous UK registration G-ALXT and is preserved at Wroughton.
