Looking pretty forlorn and obviously awaiting some major maintenance.

Cute little two-seat trainer/tourer: I flew one once, but unfortunately could hardly fit in it!

Is the former A17-587 and has been on the civil Register since July 1947. It once sported a canopy, but has now been restored to near-original condition. Such a pity, then, that it is not stored under covers.

Located on the northern outskirts of Melbourne, most of the hangars at this private strip have only gone up in the last few years. Likewise, the westernmost runway (left, in this photo) has only been added fairly recently as the eastern (parallell) runway gets pretty boggy in winter. (Note: Wallan aerodrome closed in 2008.)
