After being retired this Choctaw was transferred to AMARC with the inventory number XJ094 but was photographed at this amazing collection in the Saint Louis suburbs.

After this Mohawk was SOC it was transferred to AMARC with the inventory number YA056. It later (1989?) was registered N2608 but this was cancelled in 2011 and the plane ended up in this amazing collection. Sorry about the intruding fence.

After its FIS service this Dart was converted to a drone and flew with the 82nd Aerial Target Squadron. It then went to AMARC with the inventory number AD282 but is now part of the Bissell Auto & Body Co. collection in St. Louis. The other Dart tail belongs to QF-106A 59-0047 and the two respective fuselages are stored on the opposite side of the yard.

This B-52 flew with the 2nd Bomb Wing at Barksdale AFB and was one of the seven B-52s that took part on 16th-17th January 1991 in Operation Secret Squirrel. This was at the time the longest nonstop bombing mission in history by flying than 14,000 miles from Barksdale in 35 hours and a record which would stand for nearly a decade, to fire cruise missiles on the first night of Desert Storm. The frame was retired to AMARG in August 1991 as AABC0376. It was scrapped in November 1999 with the nose section now residing (up tight against the fence) in the Bissell Auto & Body compound in St. Louis.

This Thud was retired to MASDC as FK040 in May, 1981. The hulk now lies in corner of the Bissell Auto & Body compound in Saint Louis.

This Sabre was built as a D but subsequently converted to L standard. After retirement it was sent to MASDC and was then owned by the Dross Metals/DMI yard on the edge of DM. The remains ae now part of the Bissell Auto & Body Co. collection in St. Louis.

This Seabat was delivered to the USN as a HSS-1 in March 1956. It served at some of its life with the Vietnam AF and after returning to the US was retired to MASDC as HD0025 during October, 1969. During the 1980s it was placed onto the civil registry as N583HS but is now part of the amazing collection at Bissell Auto & Body Co.

This is a view of the Bissell Auto & Body boneyard in Choutou Ave., St. Louis. The Chickasaw N37800 was previously 55-4944 with the US Army and substantially damaged in accidents in 1986 (repaired) and 1992 (w/o). The Shawnee is 56-4353 and the Mohawk 59-2608.

This 149thTFS Virginia ANG Thunderchief is one of many old hulks stored at this location that have been sourced from AMARG with the intention of founding the Gateway Fighter Museum. Let's hope that someday this can come to fruition. Really sorry about the fence mark, I didn't bring my narrow lens and this was the only shot I could get.
